Rusin Law, Ltd. is an established and successful insurance defense law firm based in downtown Chicago representing corporate employers, municipalities and insurance carriers in Workers' Compensation, OSHA, personal injury, third party liability and lien recovery matters.

We are seeking an exceptional candidate for an Associate Attorney opening in our Workers' Compensation Department. 1-5 years of relevant experience is preferred but we will train the right inexperienced candidate.

Qualifications

  • Litigate workers' compensation cases at the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission
  • Represent the interests of the employer or insurer at hearings, trials, depositions, oral arguments, mediations, arbitrations and other proceedings
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with clients
  • Assist with the investigation of accidents and issues
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs and other legal documents
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of the employer

License

  • Illinois (Required/good standing)
