Associate Attorney at Stoner Law Offices LLC

Pittsburgh law firm seeking a full time Associate Attorney. The position primarily involves handling civil litigation matters involving real estate, as well as some transactional work.

Responsibilities:

Handle a caseload of real estate litigation matters, including but not limited to quiet title, ejectment, contract disputes, and zoning issues,

Conduct legal research, drafting motions, pleadings, and other legal documents

Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and negotiations

Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients on real estate litigation matters

Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with clients throughout the legal process

Work independently and collaboratively with team members to achieve successful case outcomes

Stay updated on real estate laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide informed legal guidance

Skills:

Strong negotiation skills to effectively represent clients' interests

Excellent research skills to gather relevant information for cases

Proficiency in legal administrative tasks, including document drafting and case management

Familiarity with legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis

Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop sound legal strategies

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective client communication

Ability to litigate cases in court with confidence and professionalism

Requirements:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania

Prior experience in civil litigation is preferred, but not required
