We are looking for a talented attorney to join the AWS Legal team supporting infrastructure technology (development supply chain security and procurement) that all AWS cloud services and customers rely upon. You will work directly with business teams to develop and launch new hardware manage its global supply chain and resolve security compliance and other risk issues related to AWS infrastructure. You will also help identify counsel on and mitigate a wide array of commercial operational regulatory and compliance issues. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about technology loves a challenge demonstrates sound judgment in ambiguous situations and effectively collaborates with peers clients and stakeholders.This position will be based in Seattle WA.Key job responsibilities- Structuring drafting and negotiating complex commercial and technology-related agreements including development supply manufacturing services software licensing services and other bespoke agreements.- Supporting and directly advising business partners on legal commercial operational regulatory and other risks.- Developing advising on and implementing vendor engagement contractual and negotiation strategies.- Collaborating cross-functionally to identify and resolve commercial operational compliance regulatory security safety legal and customer/vendor issues.About the teamWe raise the bar for innovation resiliency and security of AWS infrastructure technology by providing best-in-class legal service. The base pay for this position ranges from $118400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $195700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
