This role is pivotal in integrating cloud technologies with DevOps practices requiring a blend of technical skills and operational acumen. As the Air Forces leader for National-to-Tactical capability development AFRL collaborates with leading experts across the Intelligence Community Department of Defense National Laboratories industry inter-agency academia and partner nations.Key Responsibilities:Build and deploy helm charts to Kubernetes clustersDevelop GitLab CI/CD pipelines to build scan publish and deploy containers and helm chartsTroubleshoot failed deployments and pipelinesContainerize custom applicationsDesign high-level architecture for cloud-native networks and systemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support a variety of tech stacksWork Environment:Location:Colorado Springs CO Hybrid or On-siteTravel Requirements: MinimalWorking Hours:FlexibleQualifications:Required:Security Clearance:Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. government Top Secret security clearance with SCI SI/TK which only a U.S. citizen can obtainEducation: B.S. in Computer Science. Other degrees will be considered with relevant work experience or certificationExperience building helm charts and Kubernetes API objectsExperience writing Docker files and containerizing applicationsExperience with GNU/Linux commands shell navigation and Git version controlAbility to research and solve complex technical problems independentlyDesired:Cloud Certifications like AWS CCP AWS CSA Azure SAE Azure AACompetence in building pipelines preferably with GitLabExperience delivering a cloud native applicationExperience with AWS or Azure cloud services e.g. EKS EC2 IAM S3Competence in secret management technologies like Helm Secrets Sealed Secrets or SOPSFamiliarity with OAuth2 OIDC flows or KeyCloakExperience with IaC tools especially TerraformExperience deploying to air gapped networksExperience with Cert Manager OpenSSL and Public Key InfrastructureBasic Compensation: $76700 - $115000 (For Colorado Springs Only)The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates knowledge skills abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.Additional Compensation:KBR may offer bonuses commissions or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation.
