These beloved products include condiments and sauces, cheese and dairy, meals, meats, refreshment beverages, coffee, and numerous other grocery products in a portfolio of more than 200 legacy and emerging brands.The Role:As the Associate Director, Global Heinz Brand Strategy, you will chart the course for the future by developing strategic plans that enable the acceleration of business growth around the world. In this role, you will define and own the brand’s 1 and 3-year strategy, positioning & portfolio architecture, and you’ll set standards that guide the globe against pack design identity, strategic partnerships, nutrition and more. You will also be responsible for establishing the brand's category expansion approach and collaborate to define the ‘global bet’ innovation and renovation agenda for scaled impact around the world. This position reports directly into the Head of Brand & Portfolio Strategy for Global Heinz.Key Responsibilities:Help shape the long-term Global brand ambition & lead 1 and 3-year global brand strategy in service of local plan accelerationDevelop strategic frameworks to direct global market models, including where to play, core and expansion portfolio guardrails, and direct brand entry into new/emerging markets, ultimately driving repeatable models for growthDefine future Global innovation and renovation big bets in partnership with Global Innovation and Insights teams; lead playbook development to embed ‘global bets’ locally to ensure successful commercialization at scale Leverage global data and insights to understand business context and drivers of performance to strengthen results in collaboration zone partnersPartner with country-level leaders in key design markets to strengthen & scale the brand’s growth plans locallyExpand and maintain global pack design architecture guidelinesBuild and execute consumer-led global Sponsorship/Partnership strategy to enable scaled value for key marketsCollaborate with local design markets to embed brand guidelines and support delivery against standardsShare best practices and guidance with a highly connected and passionate community of +250 Heinz marketers via monthly Global brand townhallsKey Skills Expected:Advanced strategic thinker capable of simplifying and storytelling to effectively translate complex insights into actionable strategies that drive business resultsStrong leadership, ownership, influencing skills at all levels across a matrixed organizationModels great collaboration across complex business and cross-functional teamsCuriosity and creative problem solvingDriven, passionate self-starterNavigates ambiguity with ease, driving clarity and actionabilityQualifications:10+ years' experience in top-tier FMCG marketing, with strong expertise in brand strategy development, commercial drivers understanding, portfolio and category development; prior CPG strategic consulting experience preferredProven experience & passion behind building iconic brands with clear ambition, positioning and purposeGlobal or multi-market brand strategy experience required, emerging market experience an assetFuture-oriented strategic thinker who can chart the course in new markets/categories/product linesProven experience leading innovation, from innovation strategy, platform development to winning propositionsPrior P&L ownership with strong analytical capabilityClear capabilities in the center of excellence thinking and building guidance to set ‘best-in-class’ standardsLocation(s):Chicago or TorontoOur Total Rewards philosophy is to provide a meaningful and flexible spectrum of programs that equitably support our diverse workforce and their families and complement Kraft Heinz’ strategy and values.New Hire Base Salary Range:$164,200.00 - $205,200.00Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factorsBenefits: Coverage for employees (and their eligible dependents) through affordable access to healthcare, protection, and saving for the future, we offer plans tailored to meet you and your family’s needs.
