Job Description:About the Role:The Associate Director Retention Marketing & Subscriber Cohort Analysis leads and is the go to for subscriber retention analysis insights forecasting and budgeting across Dow Jones B2C brands including WSJ WSJ Barrons and MarketWatch.As Associate Director you will develop a detailed understanding of why subscribers are/are not renewing their subscriptions through daily/weekly/monthly analysis of all subscriber cohorts. With that you will then communicate and integrate these learnings with the rest of the team and the wider teams to develop and optimize the overall retention strategy.This role requires a candidate with experience in subscription strategy and renewals retention and pricing journeys. The Associate Director will be required to forecast retention performance (retention rates churn LTV etc.) across all subscriber cohorts.In addition you will be responsible for building a holistic retention strategy across Dow Jones B2C wealth and investing brands products and services which include Barrons and MarketWatch.Reporting to our Senior Director Retention you will lead subscriber cohort insights/analysis forecasting/budgeting and wealth and investing retention strategy and collaborate cross-functionally with the Acquisition CRM Customer Service Data Science Finance Product and Technology teams. One Manager Retention will report to you.You will work in our midtown Manhattan office 3 days every week.You Will:Report out retention insights through detailed cohort analysis of the full B2C subscriber base in partnership with the data science team to develop new retention strategies as well as optimize existing customer journeys.Develop processes to turn insights and analyses into actionable strategies across pricing communications and customer experience to increase retention and LTV.Partner with the subscriber acquisition team to optimize the full funnel across all cohorts and introductory offers with the goal of driving long-term retention.Lead all retention forecasting in partnership with data science and finance.
