Yes our work is incredibly serious and impactful but we have big ambitions bring a ton of care to pursuing them and have a lot of fun while doing so.Does this inspire you and feel like a fit Then we would love to have you join us!RoleThe Associate Director- Field Training Therapeutic Areas will report to the Senior Director US Market Training & Excellence Customer Experience & Insights-U.S. The Associate Director Field Training Therapeutic will work closely with Marketing and Sales Leadership teams to develop and maintain all Commercial training curricula in terms of technical as well as soft skills. The Associate Director Field Training Therapeutic Areas will demonstrate a thorough understanding of Commercial field training needs to be able to oversee development of specific training curriculum and delivery of related training programs. The curricula are in line with identified business needs and in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to achieve learning goals and create business impact. The Associate Director- Field Training Therapeutic Areas will create an environment of accountability by communicating timelines and information for training and certifications.ResponsibilitiesFacilitate oncology disease state and product training for new and experienced Account ManagersDesign develop and deploy oncology workshops for regional and national meetingsDevelop annual training planPartner with internal stakeholders to develop and execute launch plans for new indications and productsNew hire Oncology Account Manager on-boarding Learning Journey and certificationsOncology Account Manager continuing product and disease state educationDetermines training needs based on business objectivesDevelop and monitor metrics and KPIs to assess effectiveness of educational activities; provide senior leadership with regular updates on these metrics highlighting actionable trends and patternsAppropriately select and manage vendors for approved training supportPartner closely with Marketing Sales Market Access and Medical Affairs to combine brand strategy with Sales learning needs for tactical executionDevelops training programs and facilitation guides in partnership with internal stakeholders to ensure high quality training materials and workshopsLeads the delivery of training programs and initiatives trains the trainers and maintains ownership of key training coursesRequirementsA minimum of a bachelors degree is required. Advanced degree is preferred (not required)A minimum of 10 (ten) years professional experience is required. Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical industry experience requiredA minimum of 4 (four) years experience in training or related and relevant functionStrong background in pharmaceutical or medical device salesStrong understanding of oncology therapies disease states and treatment protocols requiredExperience with launching new products and indicationsAbility to interpret and explain clinical trial data and scientific literatureFamiliarity with evolving oncology treatment landscapes and precision medicineKnowledge of regulatory guidelines (FDA HIPAA) and compliance standardsProficiency with CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce) and sales analytics toolAbility to coach on objection handling value-based selling and territory managementCompetence in virtual and in-person training modalitiesStrong understanding of drug development and life-cycle development of a biotechnical productInstructional design experience adopting adult learning conceptsDemonstrated ability to think critically analyze situations and achieve goalsDemonstrated history of developing self and teamAbility to translate complex information to othersStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong facilitation and presentation skillsExperience with LMS platforms and eLearning development preferredKnowledge of digital learning platforms and use of AI for developing trainingStrong stakeholder and influencing skills are required to create and evolve training to meet business needs and influenceStrong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaborationProven ability to work with ambiguityDemonstrated ability to display a high degree of customer-facing sensitivity toward internal and external customers and business partnersUp to 25% domestic travel requiredFor US based candidates the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:$164000.00---$246000.00The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills qualifications experience and location.
