Company:MarshDescription:Associate Placement Specialist / Life Science PlacementWe are seeking candidates with the following skills/attributes to join our team:Ability to work in teams and cultivate relationshipsAnalytical thinker and problem solverIntellectual curiosity and a growth mindsetDemonstrated leadership skills or has taken initiative within school work and/or communityAbility to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced team environmentStrong ability to forge relationshipsAttention to detailStrongorganizational/multi-taskingskillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsIdeal candidate will be based in the NYM area and be in the office 3 days per weekIn this role we will count on you to:Handle your own renewal placements and have opportunities to work alongside a senior placement broker to handle more complex risks and placements as well as new business opportunitiesDevelop and present a renewal strategy; ensure a completed submission and send to market; negotiate broad coverage terms; document all placement activities to ensure timely follow up by client carriers and client teamInspect the binding of coverage and is responsible for the accuracy of placement bindersComplete policy reviews and confirm policy language to support policy renewal processBuild relationships within your team colleagues insurance markets clients carriers and/or underwriters to provide cohesive client serviceConsult management on complex client issues or trends through clear and concise communication and participate in development of solutionsEnsure client renewal transactions are compliant with our Client First Principles/ Standards and Best PracticesAssist in special projects within teamConsult with client executives and client teams to support client retention and new business productionMaintain a solid knowledge of market risk issues insurance brokerage account management servicing and sales skills. Office-based teams will identify at least one anchor day per week on which their full team will be together in person.The applicable base salary range for this role is $86100 to $183300.The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience skills training location certifications education and any applicable minimum wage requirements.
