DescriptionAssociate Marketing Analyst Growth and Lead Generation ($3035/hr)Hearst Bay Area San Francisco Chronicle SFGATE and affiliated brandsOverviewThe Associate Marketing Analyst Growth and Lead Generation will play a key role in driving Hearst Bay Areas B2B marketing performance through data-driven campaign execution and optimization. This role focuses on identifying targeting and converting potential advertisers and partners through paid and organic marketing channels.The ideal candidate is analytical curious and eager to apply both creative and technical skills to improve campaign efficiency. Theyll work within platforms like HubSpot Salesforce Google Ads LinkedIn Campaign Manager and AI-assisted tools to maximize ROI and improve audience targeting. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level marketer ready to grow their expertise in digital acquisition automation and marketing analytics within a leading media organization.Key Responsibilities1. Lead Generation & Campaign OptimizationSupport the execution and optimization of multi-channel lead-generation campaigns across paid search paid social and organic platformsManage campaign setup targeting and performance tracking in HubSpot and related ad platformsLeverage AI-driven insights and automation tools to test creativity improve conversion rates and increase campaign efficiencyCollaborate with sales to refine lead quality and nurture workflows that drive advertiser engagementCreate and maintain always-on lead-nurture sequences and retargeting campaigns to improve conversion ratesManage chatbot function in HubSpot to ensure all inquiries are processed in a timely manner2. Marketing Analytics & ROI TrackingAnalyze campaign performance metrics to identify trends optimize spend and improve ROIAssist in building dashboards and performance reports that visualize lead generation conversion rates and acquisition costsConduct experiments (A/B testing audience segmentation timing etc.) to continuously improve resultsContribute to marketing budget tracking and forecastingEnsure campaign data is accurately captured and synced across HubSpot Salesforce (or other CRMs) and analytics toolsCreate post-campaign reports that document key learnings and best practices3. Paid & Organic Channel ManagementAssist in managing digital ad placements and organic outreach through Google LinkedIn Meta and other platformsOptimize landing pages ad copy and targeting strategies to maximize engagement and lead qualityCollaborate with internal creative teams to ensure campaigns align with brand standardsExplore emerging digital channels (e.g. Reddit Ads TikTok programmatic display) to diversify lead acquisition4.
