This is a great opportunity to join a growing team and contribute to our mission of making the world healthier cleaner and safer.Key ResponsibilitiesAssists in all pre and post press job operations as advised by the Lead operatorAssists with make-readys associated with designated pressIssues prepares and returns material accurately and in a timely manner for press runsResponsible for post-production equipment cleaningRemoves and segregates product per established SOPs and Work InstructionsMaintains the manufacturing warehouse in a clean and organized manner ensuring that we follow F.I.F.O. inventory controlMaintains and documents our Anilox roll inventoryUnderstands and follows all SOPs and Work Instructions that relate to press operations on each pressDemonstrates excellent documentation practices at all timesMaintains the pressroom in an organized manner in order to operate at the highest level of productivityFollows all safety procedures when operating all manufacturing equipment or when handling chemicalsMaintains the press area and label storage area in a constant state of cleanlinessApplies Good Manufacturing Principles in all areas of responsibility.Demonstrates and drives the Thermo Fisher values Integrity Intensity Involvement and Innovation (The Four Is)Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient mannerOther duties may be assigned to meet business needsKnowledge Skills AbilitiesDesignated position for mandatory vision testing every two yearsHigh School Diploma or equivalent is required.At least 1 year of xperience working in a manufacturing environmentMechanically inclined with demonstrated ability to accurately read measurementsAbility to lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 70 lbs.Detailed orientedAbility to communicate in a professional manner with internal customersMust be able to accept work instructions on a daily basis.Coordinated and professional team playerAbility to learn new tasks and accept new responsibilitiesAbility to work with confidential informationPreferred Experience and SkillsPrior experience working with printing presses and / or within the printing industry is highly preferred.Excellent BenefitsBenefits & Total Rewards Thermo Fisher ScientificMedical Dental & Vision benefits-effective Day 1Paid Time Off & Designated Paid HolidaysRetirement Savings PlanTuition ReimbursementOTHERRelocation assistance is NOT providedMust be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship.Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check which includes a drug screeningCompensation and BenefitsThe hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $18.23$27.35.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
