This is a Congressionally Directed Project funded by the U.S. Department of Education at Texas A&M International University.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesConduct research on human trafficking.Develop curriculum and training materials.Provide training on human trafficking.Collaborates with others to create new and expanded programs.Assists in identifying funding opportunities.Prepares reports on program activities.Develops and updates training materials and delivers training.This document represents the major duties responsibilities and authorities of this job and is not intended to be a complete list of all tasks and functions. Other duties may be assigned.Minimum RequirementsEducation Masters degree in Criminal Justice Psychology Political Science Public Health Economics or related field.Experience Three years research experience.ABDs will be considered.Preferred Education and ExperienceExperience developing curriculum and delivering in-person and online training.Knowledge and AbilitiesKnowledge of:Proficient with software that has to do with quantitative R SAS SPSSS etc. and qualitative NVIVO LLMs research.Word processing and spreadsheet applications.Demonstrated strong writing and verbal skills.Web design and basic computer application experience.Ability to:Conduct research on human trafficking.Develop program curriculum.Provide training.Effectively communicate orally and in writing.Interact professionally with university personnel the general public and students.Demonstrate strong planning and organizational skills.Multitask prioritize and work with deadlines.Maintain confidentiality.License/Professional Certification - NonePhysical Requirements General Office EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
