Associate Security & Fire Protection Multi Operations SpecialistCompany:The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is currently seeking an Associate Security & Fire Protection Multi Operations Specialist to join the team in Heath OH.The ideal candidate will be able to work within a complex and fast-paced environment providing technical support for Fire Operations and Fire Protection Systems. This individual must have strong project management communication and organizational skills.Position Responsibilities:Performs duties as Fire Operations Technician and Fire InspectorDuties to include Fire Extinguisher Inspections Life Safety Inspection and Building InspectionsPerforms work on Fire Alarm and Fire Suppression SystemsPerforms research related to potential threats and follows emergency response plansStays current on company policies and processes local laws and regulations as they relate to emergency response proceduresCollaborates with external agencies in coordinating response plans to an emergencyCreates detailed after-action reports and negotiates with internal/external support personnelWorks with various organizations to assist in the development and updating of their business resilience plansProduces outlines subject matter conducts research uses office applications for the training purposes and identifies key equipment necessary to deliver trainingDelivers training in accordance with customer requirementsPerforms risk assessments based on trend analysisAssists in management of emergency responder training programsAssists in the design development and implementation of risk management programs processes and procedures for the protection of company people property information and interestsGuides the development of risk management policies and strategic tactical and operational planning activities for risk management program sustainabilityConsults with customers companies and external organizations to recommend and propose new or alternative solutions improvements and enhancementsInvestigates analyzes and resolves complex questions and problemsProvides guidance and training to less experienced personnelProvides support to the physical security team as neededAdditional Position Responsibilities:Routine Life Safety InspectionsRoutine Building InspectionsEmergency Responses to Fire Medical and Hazardous Spill RequestsBasic life support (BLS) standard first aid techniques and automated external defibrillator (AED) useIncident command system and emergency response protocols (e.g. establishing hot zones decontamination techniques monitoring techniques etc.)Fire Extinguisher Inspections (NFPA 10)Fire Alarm Coordination for testing activities (NFPA 72)Fire Suppression Coordination for testing activities and impairments (NFPA 25)Fire Sprinkler Valve Inspections (NFPA 25)Hot Works Management and Permits CoordinationEnsure Regulatory Fire Code Compliances to Construction and Process modificationsEmergency ManagementProvide support for physical security systems and processesBasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Active State of Ohio Firefighter I certification or if you hold an IFSAC or Proboard Firefighter I certification or able to obtain the State of Ohio Firefighter I certification within 6 months of hireActive State of Ohio Fire Inspector I Certification or the ability to obtain the certification within 6 months of hireCurrent valid drivers licenseCurrent CRP certification1 years of experience with NFPA fire protective standards and implementation1 years of experience working in security fire protection and/or emergency preparedness1 years of experience with the Microsoft Office suite including Word Excel PowerPoint Access and ProjectPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):State of Ohio Firefighter Certification IIFEMA -NIMSICSOhio State Licensed Fire Alarm TechnicianOhio State Licensed Fire Suppression TechnicianOhio State Licensed Fire Extinguisher TechnicianExperience with Physical Security & Fire Protection systems and processesDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
