As an Associate Solutions Architect, you'll serve as a strategic pre-sales engineering resource focused on Cisco, enabling security and network solutions from a market-leading technology provider. In this customer-facing role, you'll collaborate with customers, Account Managers, and fellow Solutions Architects to drive pipeline growth, deliver enablement, and help position innovative solutions.This is a remote position based in the United States with preference for candidates that live in the Central Time Zone. Responsibilities include: Act as a technical resource for Cisco-based solutions in pre-sales engagementsDeliver solution overviews and enablement to internal teams and customersContribute to the development of sales strategies and support customer-facing effortsStay current with technology trends, products, and industry best practices through training, webinars, and collaboration with national practicesDevelop accurate and complete Bill of Materials (BoMs), solution diagrams, and configuration support for strategic vendor technologiesCreate Statements of Work (SOWs), Service Pricing Documents, and proposal materials to support Presidio's service offeringsCreate costing options & estimates for Presidio services and product-based solutionsCreate Solution diagrams, collect & analyze requirements data from customers, and perform other PreSales activities in support of engineering initiativesResearch technical issues, answer customer questions about products, technologies, solutions, and offerings from our OEM partnersEnsure quality and consistency of pre-sales deliverables by following standardized processes and workflowsCollaborate with other team members to provide solutions for Presidio's customersWork in a focused and directed manner to improve overall productivity & efficiency across Presidio's PreSales teamParticipate in meetings with customers and sales teams to collect technical requirements from Presidio customers and develop an appropriate technical solutionAssist in resolving pre-sales challenges and maintaining high levels of customer satisfactionDeliver client-facing status updates, presentations, and documentation throughout the sales cycleWork collaboratively with Presidio, Cisco, and other key teams to drive opportunitiesAssist in building and developing the Cisco sales pipeline by contributing to technical campaign support and go-to-market efforts Required Skills and Professional Experience2-4 years of relevant experience. Strong passion for continuous learning, professional development, and emerging technologiesAssociate's or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar field of study OR equivalent experience AND/OR military experienceFoundational knowledge in networking, firewall, or wireless technologiesExcellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearlyProactive, self-driven mindset with a focus on customer success and collaborationPreferred Skills and Professional Experience Experience with Infrastructure configurations, Statement of Works, and/or contracts in an IT Services industryParticipation or graduation from an industry or manufacturer training program for IT/PreSales engineersExperience working with Cisco networking, firewall, or wireless solutionsUnderstanding of networking and cybersecurity architecturesAbility to create Cisco BOMs, sizing, and configurations aligned with customer requirementsFamiliarity with Cisco's go-to-market messaging, tools, and partner ecosystemExperience engaging with OEM partners in joint sales motions, particularly in networking, security, and wirelessExperience working in IT professional services, either for a manufacturer, value-added reseller (VAR), or IT solution provideYour future at PresidioJoiningPresidiomeans stepping into aculture of trailblazers-thinkers, builders, and collaborators-who push the boundaries of what's possible.
