Associate Supply Chain Specialist (Asset Manager)Company:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist (Level 2)/Asset Manager. In this role the focus will be working on-site with a team of Supply Chain Specialists supporting the C-17 program. The candidate will interface with several functions on a daily basis to manage Supply Chain requirements. Candidate will perform Supply Chain order execution delivery management and analyze data. This position will physically reside in Long Beach CA.Position ResponsibilitiesAssists in analyzing post production supply chain data to define reorder points and quantitiesAdaptable able to work in a constant change and fast paced environmentEnters tracks monitors and coordinates customer material and delivery requirements and customer ordersGeneral understanding of maintenance modifications retrofit processes and procedures.Processes material returned from customersPossess additional business and communication and looks for ways to provide continuous process improvementAssists in the analysis of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities capacity and performanceProcesses documentation associated with repair items and warranty claimsBasic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management or related field3 years of experience with reading engineering documents drawings engineering orders and understanding export/import regulationsExperience using Microsoft Office Products like PowerPoint Word Outlook ExcelExperience working in a cross-functional environmentAbility to learn the Boeing Government On-Line Data (GOLD) computer systemPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):ACCESS database desiredBachelors degree in Supply Chain Management or related fieldExperience with Aircraft Modification ProgramsKnowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) and US Army or Marine Corps or Air Force supply logistics data systems maintenance data systems US Army Marine Corps field manuals and maintenance technical ordersExperience with the Boeing Government On-Line Data (GOLD) computer systemDrug Free Workplace:Boeingis a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Total Rewards & Pay Transparency:At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
