At Clayton, we believe that a great place to work isn't just about the job but the people who create success together.What we want you to do:Teach in an infant/toddler or preschool classrooms as needed in a professional manner by actively participating as a teacher in classrooms as assignedProvide support to classroom teachers in execution of classroom duties and student engagementAssist in the supervision of 8-16 students with the classroom which may include some students with disabilities and or behavioral difficultiesFollow the Conscious Discipline model for effective teaching and learningEffectively implement Educare's core features within the classroomStrongly adhere to the NAEYC Code of Ethical ConductProvide routine care for students such as changing diapers or assisting with toiletingParticipate in the serving and clean-up of meals and snacksEat meals and snacks together "family style" with the studentsPerform other duties as assigned to ensure the quality of Clayton Educare education programsWhat you must have:Education: Must possess a level 2 certification in the PDIS system AND have completed ECE 101 and ECE 103 OR have a EQIT CertificationExperience: Previous experience working in early childhood education or a related field is preferredSkills: Pediatric first aid, CPR, experience working with young children, knowledge of child development principles, ability to use technology in a professional setting, including Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and other software and applications required by the roleBackground Check: Must be able to pass a background check, including CBI/FBI fingerprinting, motor vehicle/driving record (MVR), CO state child abuse and neglect registry check, a national sex offender registry check, and reference checks.Other: Ability to work flexible hours, valid driver's license and proof of auto insuranceThe perks:16+ paid company holidaysSpring Break and Winter Break - up to 10 paid days offAccrued vacation time, starting at 10 days per year up to 30 days per year, based on years of servicePaid sick timeMedical, vision, and dental insurance coverageLife, AD&D insuranceMental health support through our medical coverage and our employee assistance program (EAP)Long-term disability coverage401(k) with 5% employer match after 1 year of employmentFSA plansCollege 529 investment plansIdentify theft and protection plansCompensation:$18.00-$20.00 per hourClayton's Core Values:At Clayton Early Learning, we believe that our core values help to drive actions and create habits that allow our belief in the unlimited potential of young children to become a reality.
