Job Title: Clinical LeaderDepartment: Long Term Care Location: Park Ridge Living Center Hours Per Week: 40Schedule: Days, 7a-3p SUMMARY:As a Nursing Supervisor, your strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational and multitasking skills and demonstrated ability to guide and lead staff makes you a valuable asset to the unit.RESPONSIBILITIES:Unit Management. Oversee and assure short-and long-term Nursing Department staff schedules; serve as a clinical resource to staff in problem solving, assessment and special procedures; coordinate with the Nursing Staff resident units and admissions department in the rapid admission of residentsSupervision Oversees the dining areas, interacting with residents, families and staff in providing a safe, pleasant mealtime and assure appropriate completion of required recordsPatient Care. Facilitate units in emergency medical assessment and care of residents, including interventions, transportation and other resources as neededREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:One (1) year of nursing experience required, Registered in NYS as a registered nurse professional. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program required; Bachelors preferred. One to three years of nursing experience. LT PAC nursing experience preferred. One year of supervisory experience preferred. EDUCATION:LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)American Heart Association (AHA), RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)New York State Education Department (NYSED)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
