Assurance Manager

A seasoned audit professional with 47 years of public accounting experience and an active CPA license is needed for this role. This position leads complex audits, reviews financial statements, oversees internal control testing, and mentors audit staff while supporting select consulting projects. The position is available for immediate hire and is based in the Atlanta area with hybrid work flexibility. The firm seeks a strong leader to ensure high-quality audit delivery, support client needs, and contribute to continued team development.

Key responsibilities include leading and reviewing complex audits, financial statements, and employee benefit plan audits; preparing GAAP-compliant disclosures and high-quality audit documentation; testing and documenting internal controls for a variety of engagements; supervising, coaching, and reviewing workpapers for audit staff and seniors; and supporting consulting projects and managing engagement timelines and expectations.

Qualifications include an active CPA license with 47 years of public accounting audit experience, strong technical, leadership, and communication capabilities, experience in transportation, manufacturing, or construction industries is a plus, and proficiency in Excel; CCH ProSystem fx and IDEA experience preferred.
