Assurance Manager

An experienced audit professional with 68 years of public accounting experience and a required CPA license is needed for this role. This position leads assurance engagements, manages full audit cycles, prepares GAAP-compliant financial statements, and supervises staff while supporting consulting projects. The position is available for immediate hire and is based in the Atlanta area with a hybrid work schedule.

The firm seeks a strong leader to oversee engagements, strengthen client relationships, and ensure high-quality, compliant audit delivery. The office environment is collaborative and professional, offering coaching, development programs, and a business-casual atmosphere.

Key responsibilities include leading and overseeing audits, reviews, and other assurance projects, managing client relationships, engagement planning, timelines, and deliverables, supervising, mentoring, and reviewing the work of staff and seniors, preparing and reviewing financial statements and GAAP-compliant disclosures, and supporting consulting projects, billing, and engagement administration.

Qualifications include 68 years of public accounting experience in assurance/audit, a CPA license required; MBA preferred, industry experience in manufacturing, distribution, or transportation, strong leadership, communication, and technical abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CCH ProSystem fx and IDEA is a plus.
