ASVH-Yuma - CNA - Night PRNSchedule: 6:00 PM6:30 AM 12-hour shiftsHours vary weekly; 40 hours not guaranteed (typically 2436 hrs/week).Responsibilities:Assist Veterans/Members with all ADLs including transfers ambulation bathing dressing toileting and hygiene.Support simple therapeutic procedures to maintain limb strength and flexibility.Assist nursing staff with basic medical procedures (suppositories enemas treatments post-surgical and post-mortem care).Monitor and document physical and mental status including vital signs and specimen collection.Maintain accurate medical records and complete required documentation.Support dining needs: transport to dining area communicate meal choices serve meals and assist as needed.Respond promptly to call-light and care requests in line with Resident Bill of Rights.Maintain a clean safe and sanitary resident environment (bedding/linens room upkeep).Assist nurses in emergencies per facility policies.Transport residents to appointments and provide clerical support (phones filing).Participate in AMS processes (Huddle Boards Problem Solving Job Breakdown Sheets Standardized Work etc.).Actively engage in QAPI and CMS-mandated quality improvement efforts.Knowledge Skills & Abilities:Understanding of para-professional nursing principles practices and state regulations.Ability to use and maintain medical equipment.Ability to maintain a safe orderly and therapeutic environment.Strong documentation record-keeping and communication skills.Ability to build effective working relationships and learn/implement AMS methods.Education/Certification:Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Arizona.
