We are looking for a highly dedicated, energetic trainer who is committed to students, their success, and providing student-athletes with unparalleled support. This position requires a flexible schedule, including irregular hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on the athletic schedule and the needs of student athletes. Our Athletic Trainers collaborate with the Associate Dean of Athletics and coaching staff to ensure student athletes are healthy and prepared to compete. They may also coordinate with medical professionals to treat injuries, develop rehabilitation programs, and monitor recovery progress. In conducting their duties, staff members shall respect and acknowledge the diversity of students and colleagues.Typical Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree AND three (3) years of applicable experience OR the equivalent education and experienceCertification by the National Athletic Trainer's Association and two years of experience as a trainerPossession of valid, up-to-date, Advanced Red Cross First Aid Certificate, a CPR card, and an appropriate California driver's license issued by the State Department of Motor VehiclesPromote and incorporate culturally affirming DEIA and anti-racist principles to nurture and create a respectful, inclusive, and equitable learning and work environment.
