Athletic Trainer at North Shore Health

North Shore Health is seeking a dynamic and motivated Athletic Trainer to join our team. This unique dual-role position supports both clinical operations at North Shore Health and outreach athletic training services for local schools. The Athletic Trainer assists with patient care medical procedures while also providing sports coverage injury prevention and athlete rehabilitation. This position plays a key role in promoting safe healthy athletic participation and excellent patient outcomes across settings.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical & Hospital-Based CareSupport patient care from intake through discharge and serve as liaison between patients providers and staff.Assist with patient evaluations education procedures and post-operative care.Maintain efficient clinic flow perform brace/crutch fittings and assist with sterilization.Athlete Evaluation & TreatmentEvaluate document and treat athletic injuries in coordination with providers.Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust plans for optimal recovery.Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.School & Community OutreachProvide athletic training coverage for school sporting events and practices.Maintain injury records emergency action plans and athletic training supplies.Educate coaches and staff on emergency response concussion management and injury prevention.Surgical Assistance (as applicable)Support surgical preparation sterile field maintenance and procedural assistance under physician supervision.Qualifications : Qualifications License & Certification:Bachelors or Masters degree in Athletic Training or related field.BOC certification and current Minnesota Athletic Trainer license required (or eligibility).CPR/AED certification.New Grads are encouraged to applyAdditional Information : To apply for this position please visit the North Shore Health website.This is a full-time position with 72 hours per pay period.Public Student Loan Forgiveness Eligible Schedule36 hours per weekMonday to FridayOccasional evenings and weekendsNorth Shore Health offers a comprehensive benefit package including health dental and vision insurances life insurance short and long term disability insurances PERA employer paid VEBA 8 paid holidays and paid time off.  Starting Hourly Rate is $26.05 to $36.06For more details and to apply for this position:  Work : NoEmployment Type : Full-time Key Skills Performance Testing,Organizational skills,Classroom Experience,Learning Technology,Instructional Design,Customer Support,IT Service Management,LMS,Software Testing,Training & Development,Adobe Captivate,Public Speaking Experience: years Vacancy: 1
