Job DescriptionJob DescriptionStretchLab Waco is seeking health and wellness professionals to join our Flexologist team. This is an amazing opportunity to gain experience in a new modality that is taking the fitness industry by storm.StretchLab is the industry leader in offering one-on-one customized assisted stretching.With co-founders coming from the Personal Training industry, StretchLab has created a variety of offerings to empower clients to “Live Long”. StretchLab has gathered a team of experts certified in an array of related fields including Physical Therapy, Chiropractic medicine, Yoga, Pilates, and more.StretchLab prides itself on having the finest team of friendly and knowledgeable stretching professionals. StretchLab’s proprietary Flexologist ™ training ensures that our clients receive a world class stretching session. Our Flexologists will provide one-on-one assisted stretches, as well as lead guided group stretching classes for our clients.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessionsBuild StretchLab membership and retain current clienteleEnsure safety of clients in regards to proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab polices and safety rulesAttend staff meetings and required educational presentationsHandle member concerns when applicableAssist Sales Associates and General Manager with studio tour and sales as neededClean and maintain all equipment in order to ensure it is available for client use at any given timeQualifications:Preferred background for a Flexologist position:Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, ACE, ISSA, NCSA, ACSM, NESTA, NCCPT, NCSF, AFAA, NFPT)Bachelor's, Masters, or Doctorate degree in one of the following concentrations: Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, Human BiomechanicsLicensed Massage TherapistPhysical TherapistPhysical Therapist Assistant (Associate's degree)Certified Pilates, Yoga Teacher, Barre Instructor, or Martial Arts InstructorDance InstructorFitness CoachCertified Athletic TrainerExercise and Allied Health ProfessionalsYoga Instructor Experience working in a fitness/health environment where you provide hands-on training with clientLove of a boutique fitness environment is a mustMust have a passion for wellness, stretching, mobility and flexibilityAbility to create a positive environment that welcomes all peopleFantastic verbal and written communication skills and exudes empathyMust love connecting with people and have passion for helping them achieve goalsMust have a professional work ethic, be reliable and adhere to our attendance policiesMust be available to complete our Flexologist Training which includes approximately 20 hours of online coursework and a final exam, an intensive 2-day in-person/hands-on training, and logging practice hours for post-workshop assisted stretching sessions (you will be compensated for this time)Powered by JazzHR0IC2dO29jp
