The Attraction Mechanic is responsible for keeping our parks and attractions in full repair so our Guests get the full enjoyment of our Parks and Resorts. Our first-class shops put efficiency, productivity and concern for the safety of our mechanics front-and-center. Our Attraction Mechanics dont just perform preventative maintenance, they respond to trouble tickets within a theme park setting too. This is a field service position that may include work from elevated platforms and confined spaces throughout the Walt Disney World Parks and Resort property.The pay rate for this role in Florida is $29.59 per hour.Select benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, such as medical, financial, and/or other benefits. To learn more about our benefits visit: https://jobs.disneycareers.com/benefits.Basic Qualifications :Valid Florida Drivers LicenseExperience with practices involving millwright mechanical workMinimum of 4 years experience as a qualified maintenance mechanicPractical experience in repair, troubleshooting and preventative maintenanceExperience working on but not limited to gearbox assemblies, bearing replacement, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, restraint systems, brake and wheel assembliesPossess the ability to interpret schematics and printsUse blueprints to verify dimensions, materials, components, and specificationsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsExcellent written and interpersonal communication skillsProficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devicesAdditional Information :Schedule Availability:Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
