The Clinical Specialist functions effectively as a member of the clinical team by providing advanced practice to patients. He/she provides informal education for and serves as preceptor and mentor of other staff members.Think youve got what it takesSkills & Requirements:Doctorate requiredDoctorate Audiology preferredTXAUDLIC - Texas Audiology License by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (or Texas Department of State Health if issued prior to 2017) required andBLS - Cert-Basic Life Support American Heart Association required andCCC-A - Cert-Audiology by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association within 6 months of position start date required orABA-CERT - Cert-Audiology by the American Board of Audiology within 6 months of position start date required3 years Post-graduate Audiology experience required*Pediatric vestibular experience preferred.As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace all successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing in compliance with occupational health and safety standards.Job Duties & Responsibilities:Provides diagnostic assessmentsAge-appropriate diagnostic assessments and interpretationAmplification evaluations/dispensing verification validation programming and trainingDocumentation and patient/family educationComplete documentation meeting departmental standards for content accuracy and timeliness.
