Audiovisual ProgrammerCompany:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) / Space Intelligence & Weapons Systems (SI&WS) seeks anAudio/Visual Programmerto join our team in the National Capital Region to support direct work on high visibility projects with oversight and direct responsibility for successful support to our customers and users. You will need to demonstrate proficiency inA/V programmingand architecture particularly withCrestronequipment and environments.Position Responsibilities:Design develop and test high performance AV solutions for government customers.Generate custom audiovisual control system code and user interfaces usingCrestrontechnologiesSupport customer stakeholder meetings to collect and document or validate system requirements. Research identify and recommend technology options to solve customer problems.Support onsite deployment and configuration ofAV systems. Coordinate with customer facilities teams and other onsite sub-contractors and vendors during systems installation as required.Support the development of end-user training materials and operations and maintenance plans.Perform in-house testing and on-site commissioning at client locations.Develop expertise in the industry through continuing training certifications and review of trade publications.This position requires anactive TS/SCIU.S. Security Clearance with aCounterintelligence Polygraph(CIP). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)This position is contingent on clearance verification and customer concurrence.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Years of related experience: 1 for level 2 3 for level 3 5 for level 4Crestron experience.Experience in Object Oriented Programming ( C# Swift ObjC C ).Experience working with HTML5.Experience in graphic design and content development.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Knowledge of software systemsconfiguration managementC# programming experience.Object oriented programming experienceHTML/web programming (for user interface design) experienceCrestron Gold level programming Certification or higherExperience working with local and remote teamsExperience interfacing directly with all levels of staff and managementExperience working as a member of a development teamExperience translating customer requirements into software designsBasic understanding of IP addressing subnetting and networking fundamentalsDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace (DFW) where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
