The base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidates skills and experience job-related knowledge geographic location and other specific business and organizational needs.As a candidate you are encouraged to ask compensation related questions and have an open dialogue with your recruiter who can provide you more specific details for this role.Line of Business:AuditJob Description:The Audit Director Tech Financial Crimes is a leader within Internal Audit responsible for overseeing planning executing the audit activities for technologies supporting Financial Crimes processes for all TD Bank US Holdings segments and entities.Depth & Scope:Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent setting goals developing staff managing employee performance and compensation decisions promoting teamwork and handling any/all disciplinary actions as requiredDesigns plans & executes Audit Plan for coverage of Financial Crimes technologiesResponsible for the broader Division mandate to contribute to a strong control cultureDevelops a team focused on enterprise compliance not just local needsDevelops & maintains strong relationships with key stakeholdersStaffs the function with appropriately skilled individuals and augment with SMEs where necessaryAttracts develops and retains key talent making audit a great place to workDevelops a risk-based Audit Plan & deliver the plan evenly over the course of the yearEnsures quality of work meets division standardsIdentifies all significant control gaps in areas we auditProvides clear comprehensive and timely reporting on significant control mattersManages financial budget within plan and riskEducation & Experience:Undergraduate degree required; Post Graduate degree preferred10 years leading Audit within a regulatory environmentProfessional Accreditation such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)Technology audit experience for Financial Crimes technologies and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) accreditation would be an assetTechnology expertisePassion for understanding how rapid changes in technology and digital innovation will impact the enterprise.Previous experience developing and executing on strategies in both the short and long termStrong people management skills; experience building and leading high performing teamsDemonstrated relationship building and stakeholder management skills with the ability to make things happen through the use of positive influenceExcellent analytical skills in assessing risk issues and challenging the status quoSkillful communication (written and verbal) negotiation and partnership skills to balance stakeholder input but remain objective to reach the right outcomeAbility to stay resilient under pressureStrong presentation skills to facilitate working with senior management and representing the divisionRobust organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and prioritiesPhysical Requirements:Never: 0%; Occasional: 1-33%; Frequent: 34-66%; Continuous: 67-100%Domestic Travel OccasionalInternational Travel NeverPerforming sedentary work ContinuousPerforming multiple tasks ContinuousOperating standard office equipment - ContinuousResponding quickly to sounds OccasionalSitting ContinuousStanding OccasionalWalking OccasionalMoving safely in confined spaces OccasionalLifting/Carrying (under 25 lbs.)
