Are you looking to make a difference in patients lives with a company that values your expertise Join us in our mission of delivering compassionate healthcare where it matters most at home.Pinnacle Home Care Floridas largest Medicare-certified home health provider has beendelivering high-quality patient-centered care for over two decades and were looking for an Authorization Coordinator to join our award-winning team.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and process patient authorization to completion with precision detail and accuracy.Serve in a highly patient-focused role that works directly with our branches clinicians Case Managers Care Coordinators Physicians/ PCP(s) insurance representatives outside vendors and other medical personnel.Communicate professionally relevant information to the appropriate teams.Transmit appropriate documents to support the authorization request throughout the life cycle of the patient treatment.Effectively manage authorization throughout the course of a patient episode to ensure that the patients treatment coincides with the authorization provided by the Insurance carrier.Monitor communications including faxes emails and phones calls throughout the day to update patient authorization status and adhere to any failed communications or requests for additional information to process authorization.Identify and reconcile complex authorization issues in a timely manner.Meet productivity goals assigned by Authorization Leadership.Adhere to federal state and agency regulations and policies to maintain confidentiality of patients and agency information per HIPPA requirements.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree preferred.Health Care experience preferably Home Health Care experience (minimum 1 year)Authorizations experience-preferred (minimum 1 year)Strong people skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.Knowledge of medical terminology CPT HCPCS and ICD coding.Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and complete tasks with attention to detail while managing multiple responsibilities.Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to address customer concerns in a courteous and timely manner.Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.Strong knowledge of relevant computer systems and proficient computer literacy skillsWhy Choose PinnaclePersonalized One-on-One Care: Help patients heal and regain their independence by delivering individualized care in the comfort of their homes.Growth & Stability: Over two decades as Floridas largest home health agency.Ongoing Professional Development: Free Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to support licensure and career advancement.Competitive Benefits & Perks: Including an employee referral program where you can earn rewards.Recognized Excellence: Ranked as a USA Today Top Workplace.Flexible Scheduling: Enjoy a schedule that aligns with your personal priorities.Supportive & Fun Culture: Join a collaborative forward-thinking team that values both professional excellence and personal fulfillment.Pinnacle promotes an inclusive environment and is an equal opportunity employer.
