Achieve Beyond was founded in 1995 and is continuously growing to meet the needs of developmentally disabled children through our ABA, speech, occupational, and physical therapy. We currently offer our services in the entire metro New York area (including the five boroughs of NYC, Hudson Valley and Long Island) and Albany, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware, and the Virginia/ Maryland/ DC area. We specialize in conducting initial evaluations and providing ongoing services in home, community, and clinic settings. Achieve Beyond is centered around a culture of collaboration and support to ensure our services are of the highest quality and adhere to our strong ethical standards.All of our therapists will have access to the following benefits:Flexible part-time working schedulesFull practice management Training and use of our paperless billing and data collection system24/7 online learning platform for clinical workshops and trainingsDedicated team of clinical supervisors and administrative staff to provide constant supportFinancial educational assistance program for select candidatesDiscounts on retail products, services, and experiencesBenefits package available: medical, dental, vision insurances, 401k and 401k with matching (based on caseload)Now Hiring: Part-time, Hourly Behavior TherapistsStarting Hourly Rate: $20-$27Location: Cases Available in Montgomery and Prince George CountiesJobResponsibilities:Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the Board Certified Behavior AnalystParticipate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other Behavior Therapists on the caseCommunicate frequently with family members by providing debriefs at the end of each session, as well as resources and strategies that can be implemented in the home and community to promote consistencyCollect daily data and organize child's program book weeklyBTs must maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with State and Federal regulationsBT Requirements:Must have a passion for working with children, families, and therapists!At least 1-2 years working with children ages 2-21 in a supervised setting OR successful completion of or current enrollment in an undergraduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education, or related fieldExperience using ABA preferredSuccessful completion of ABA training, consisting of online and in person training provided by Achieve BeyondMust be self- motivated, a team player, and exercise patience/professionalismExcellent organizational skills with attention to detailExcellent communication skills with children, family members, and supervisorPassionate about helping children and families, and providing services of the highest standards!Must be comfortable working in a home-based settingPhysical Requirements:Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases including but not limited to driving personal vehicle, walking, and/or use of public transportation such as a bus or train.The ability to climb and descend staircasesThe ability to lift 10 pounds regularlyThe ability to sit on the floor, kneel, and/ or crawl for extended periodsCompensation is determined based on experience and education, and will be discussed during the interview process.
