Auto and Truck Mechanic at Budget Car Rental

Description: Budget Rent a Car of Atlanta is looking to hire a Auto and Truck Mechanic for our East Point location at our Maintenance Facility. The ideal candidate will have prior automotive experience.. Requirements: Responsibilities:• Examine cars and trucks based on out of service concerns• Perform basic maintenance, including changing motor oil, rotating tires, and checking fluid levels• Repair or replace worn parts and systems, such as spark plugs, wheel bearings, brake pads, fuel systems, and sensors• Follow checklists to ensure thorough examination of all parts and systems• Identify mechanical and electrical problems with both manual and computerized diagnostic equipment• Present explanation of why repairs are necessary• Perform repairs thoroughly and accurately• Ensure satisfaction at all timesQualifications:• High School diploma or equivalent preferred• Completion of a postsecondary program in automotive service technology a plus• ASE certification is a plus• Experience with electronic systems maintenance and repair• Basic computer skills required• Strong communication skills• Physical strength and stamina, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds• Basic tools and equipment of a automotive technician• Basic knowledge of diesel vehicle and diagnostic skills and ability to perform preventive maintenance services and inspectionsPI418dc1dcbee0-7156
