Auto Body Painter at Motocruit

Our Client is seeking an experienced and skilled Auto Body Painter to join their team. The Auto Body Painter will be responsible for preparing and painting vehicles to restore them to their pre-accident condition. The successful candidate must have a thorough understanding of automotive painting techniques a keen eye for color and detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:Inspect and prepare vehicles for painting including sanding masking and primingMix paint to match the original color and texture of the vehicleApply paint using a variety of techniques including brushes rollers and spray guns ensuring that all surfaces are covered evenly and with the proper thicknessFollow manufacturers recommendations for paint application and curing timesInspect finished work to ensure that the paint has been applied correctly with no drips runs or other imperfectionsClean and maintain painting equipment including spray guns brushes and rollersMaintain a clean and organized work area and properly dispose of hazardous materialsFollow established safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environmentRequirementsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 2 years of experience as an auto body painter or related fieldThorough understanding of automotive painting techniques including mixing and matching colors applying paint and curing timesGood color perception and attention to detail with the ability to match colors and texturesGood physical stamina and manual dexterity with the ability to stand bend and stoop for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 poundsGood communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with other team membersValid drivers license Certifications:ASE (National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence) certification in painting and refinishing is a plusI-CAR (Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair) certification in Painting is preferredPaint manufacturer certification(s) preferredAbility to spray water borne and solvent highly preferred BenefitsIf you are an experienced and skilled Auto Body Painter who takes pride in delivering high-quality paint work we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. Minimum of 2 years of experience in auto body repair with an emphasis on structural repairs. Knowledge of welding techniques and use of specialized tools and equipment. Experience in frame and suspension alignment. Ability to read and interpret repair orders and technical manuals. Attention to detail and quality workmanship. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Relevant certification(s) such as ASE Structural Technician or I-CAR Gold Class certification is preferred. Experience utilizing Car-O-Liner Chief Genesis or Celette highly preferred Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
