You want to be part of who we are!This role the Shop/Fleet Mechanic will oversee the performance and maintenance of the fleet vehicles and production machinery. Now this has different meaning than what you might be thinking if youre coming from a traditional garage; here you might be doing maintenance and repairs on trucks and cars. But you may also be working on aerial lifts forklifts mini- excavators and other manufacturing equipment. No day is ever the same!What will you do in your jobPerform repair work on vehicles: breakdowns and malfunctionsFollow flow procedures including documenting correct mileage/hours saving and tagging all warranty and core parts documenting all repairs on work order using complaint cause and correction formatFollow parts ordering/billing proceduresPerform preventive maintenance on off-road equipment such as lubrications adjustments and safety inspectionsWhat do you need to do this jobHigh school diploma requiredVocational or college related coursework -OR- experience equivalent requiredCurrent Drivers LicenseMust be mechanically inclined (of course!)Work independentlyCommunicate wellBe highly organizedSkilled in diagnosis and repair of electrical systemsThis position is located IN Plymouth WI- remote work is not possible.Applicants must be able to work in the US as sponsorship is not an option.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods standing and walking.Able to bend stretch push pull and move as needed to reach clean and service machinery.Must be able to visually inspect machines.Ability to stand sit walk bend reachAbility to climb laddersAbility to push/pullAbility to lift /carry up to 100 lbs.Ability to grasp toolsAbility to discern colorRepetitive motion: wrenches Required Experience:Manager Key Skills Mechanic Experience,Brake Repair,Suspension Experience,Mechanical Knowledge,Alignment,Auto Body Repair,Automotive Diagnostics,Automotive Repair,Shocks & Struts,Mentoring,Stocking,Automotive Service Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Hourly Salary Salary: 32 - 37
