Automotive Android Business SME We are seeking a visionary and business-savvy Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead innovation and shape strategic direction in cockpit and cloud-based automotive solutions. This role demands more than technical expertise-it requires a deep understanding of how technology drives customer value and competitive advantage. The ideal candidate will bring over a decade of automotive domain experience with proven leadership in Android platform development system validation and user experience design. A strong grasp of cloud technologies and their application in connected vehicle ecosystems is essential to deliver scalable future-ready solutions that align with business goals. Cockpit System Experience: Lead the design and development of advanced cockpit solutions focusing on Android-based platforms. Provide technical leadership in HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) and AOSP (Android Open-Source Project) development. Work closely with HMI (Human-Machine Interface) teams to design user-centric and intuitive interfaces. Collaborate with system architects to define cockpit architecture and integration strategies. System &Validation Experience: Oversee system validation processes ensuring high-quality and reliable solutions. Drive automation in validation processes to improve efficiency and reduce testing cycles. Define and execute validation strategies for end-to-end system performance. AI and Personalization: Leverage AI to develop intelligent agents for enhanced user experience and personalization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement AI driven solutions for predictive behavior voice recognition and contextual personalization. Cloud & Connected Car Expertise: Design and implement cloud-based solutions for connected car ecosystems. Develop scalable and secure cloud services for features like remote monitoring over-the-air updates diagnostics and user analytics. Technical Sales: Should have responded to RFIs / RFQs. Lead solutioning for customers in a RFQ / Pre-RFQ stage defending Primary R& R Business Growth: Own business growth of the region committing to pipeline growth and business wins Ability to package offerings negotiate influence customers on solutions Regularly update on market and technology trends and provide inputs to internal solution roadmaps Ability to create partnerships to provide integrated business propositions to customers Innovation & Collaboration: Stay updated on emerging technologies in AI cloud and automotive systems to incorporate into strategic roadmaps. Work with internal teams and external partners to align business goals with technical solutions. Define and document business requirements use cases and workflows for cockpit and cloud solutions. Requirements: Experience: Minimum 10 years in the automotive domain with expertise in cockpit systems and connected car solutions. Android Platform Expertise: Strong knowledge of HAL AOSP and HMI development. Validation Expertise: Experience in system validation and automation processes. AI Experience: Proven experience in developing AI-based solutions for user experience and personalization. Cloud Knowledge: Strong understanding of cloud services and hands-on experience in designing cloud-based solutions for connected vehicles. Technical Skills: Proficiency in system architecture software development and integration of automotive systems. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving leadership and communication skills. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud is preferred. Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (e.g. CAN LIN Ethernet) is preferred. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools for product development is preferred. Understanding of cybersecurity principles for connected vehicles is preferred.
