Hiring immediately!Pay Range: $20-$22 hourlyADESA is looking for an auto body prepper to join our Body Shop Team! This team plays a crucial role in our vehicle reconditioning and sale ready process. Whether you're intermediate, or consider yourself an expert, we want to talk with you if: you're motivated by staying busy, take pride in your work, enjoy working in a team environment, and want to contribute your way to upward mobility and growth.The Auto Body Prepper is tasked with quality preparation for all assigned vehicles prior to the paint, reassembly, and final finish stages.Responsibilities and Duties: Reviews estimates and understands the scope of repair Tapes surface areas and parts with precision to minimize tapelines and overspray Applies masking paper as necessary Parts removal and reassembly as required Performs final surface cleaning and preparation for proper adhesion Qualifications: Experience in an automotive body shop preferred. Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver's license. Must have a demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Must have the ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
