The hood technician reviews the manufacturers vehicle recommendations with the customer and completes the oil change.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCommunicate effectively with CustomersKeep work area clean and organized. Protect pit opening with bay net when not occupied by vehicleUse Echo SystemPerform visual inspection of vehicle, document any unusual conditionsObtain correct oil filter, Drain oil, Inspect oil drain plug and gasket.Check/fill gear boxesPerform additional services, such as fuel filters, transmissions and differentials, when applicableAssist with performing pressure and leak checkPerform visual inspection of belts, hoses, and other hood compartment components, document unusual conditions. Assist with performing pressure and leak checkAssist with final safety and quality checkOther Duties and ResponsibilitiesIn addition to the duties listed above, every crew member is responsible for general center maintenance and cleaning duties such as mopping, washing center windows, lawn mowing, clearing litter, and cleaning restrooms. Crew members must attend crew meetings and run errands as required, as well as other duties assigned by a supervisor.Job QualificationsCustomer service skills Basic literacy (ready, writing, math skills) Verbal communication skillsAbility and license to operate motor vehiclesAbility to properly use mechanical hand toolsAttention to detailPrevious experience or training - Minimum 3 months actual experience or supervised training as a lube technician requiredWorking ConditionsMaterials Used: Automotive oils, fluids and lubricants.
