Job Description

Adecco is helping thier client in Everett, WA find their next Warehouse Receiving Clerk.

As a receiving clerk, you will be responsible for unloading and inspecting delivered goods to ensure that all products ordered are received. As a Receiving Clerk, you may unload, count, and record the receipt of shipped goods while ensuring that orders have been correctly satisfied. Receiving Clerks report shortages and damages that occurred during shipment to their manager or directly to the shipping agent. They may also be required to enter data into inventory systems and put away stock.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for processing all incoming deliveries daily; small parcel UPS, FedEx and common carriers, as well as airfreight and ocean containers

  • Open, de-trash, sort, match documents and stage all incoming freight for put-away into inventory

  • Comparing packing lists to company purchase orders and ensuring that the products in each delivery match the packing list and items are not damaged

  • Deliver product from receiving to the appropriate destination

  • Operates computer, scanners, and heavy machinery that could include forklift and pallet jacks

  • Provides back-up support for shipping dock functions

  • Maintain organization and cleanliness in designated work area

  • Follows all safety protocols

Qualifications

  • High school diploma / GED

  • Forklift certified (or willing/able to become forklift certified)

  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly

  • Previous warehouse experience

  • Experience operating forklifts

  • Position requires standing for an 8-hour or longer shift

  • Flexibility to work overtime

  • Outstanding organizational, planning and coordination skills with attention to detail

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instruction

  • Strong verbal communication skills

  • Must work effectively with team members

Pay Details: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
