Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription of the role:We are seeking a dynamic Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric approach. Must have the ability to meet daily sales calls, emails, and appointment quotas. Obtain Mazda product knowledge certifications and keep current with the top in Mazda industry. As an Automotive Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers in finding their perfect vehicle, and closing sales deals. Be willing to work longer hours than 9-5. 9-5 paychecks are small, we don't like small paychecks here. Associate must perform duties described above at a high level with transparency and integrity. WE OFFER SALARY + BONUSES OR COMMISSION PAY PLANS based off experience and comfort. Responsibilities: Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure a high level of customer satisfactionBuild and maintain relationships with customers to ensure a high level of customer satisfactionAssist customers in finding and purchasing a vehicle that meets their needs and preferences Provide exceptional customer service to drive sales with a minimum of 12 sales per monthMaintain closing statistics above industry average 12% Internet, 25 % phone, 40% walk inAssist customers in finding and purchasing a vehicle that meets their needs and preferencesConduct test drives and provide thorough product demonstrations to potential customersNegotiate and close sales deals in a timely mannerStay up-to-date with product knowledge, features, and specificationsRequirements:Prior experience in automotive sales or a similar role is preferredEfficiency, Honesty/IntegrityAggressive follow up on commitmentsKeen attention to detail with adaptabilityExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with teamwork mentality and positive attitudeCalm under pressure with strong work ethic/burning desire to be better than averageStrong negotiation and persuasive abilitiesAbility to meet and exceed sales targetsValid driver's license with a clean driving recordBenefits:Competitive salary between $50,000 - $125,000 per yearCommission and performance-based incentivesHealth insurance and retirement plansPaid vacation and sick leaveOngoing training and career development opportunitiesAbout the Company:Mazda of Columbia is a leading automotive dealership in Columbia, South Carolina.
