OverviewIra Mazda is part of the fast-growing Group 1 Automotive a leader in automotive retail. We are looking to add an Automotive Sales Managerto our team. Our Sales Manager will have the drive to coach lead and engage our buyers and sales associates through and after a sale.In addition to competitive pay we offer our associates the following benefits:Health Dental Vision Life and Disability insurance401(k) plan with company matchPaid Time-OffEmployee Stock Purchase PlanEmployee Vehicle Purchase ProgramProfessional work environment with job training and advancement opportunitiesResponsibilities:Meet monthly forecast for sales volume and sufficient gross to meet profit objectivesCreate and organize all sales activities for the Sales departmentRecruit hire and develop a retail sales forceEstablish a positive relationship with customers bygetting involvedat the beginningMaintain vehicle inventory and days supplyEnsure that salespeople are informed of all new inventory and current advertising efforts including rebates and incentivesAppraise all incoming used vehiclesWork with the General Manager to forecast monthly sales and expensesEnthusiastically assist salespeople in customer interactionsEnhance customer satisfaction during the entire purchase experienceSupervise new car sales associates to ensure individual and department sales quotas are metPartner with the Financial Services Department to develop and coordinate best practices for the most efficient and effective sales approachAssist new car sales associates in closing sales as neededOther duties may be assigned by managementDemonstrates behaviors consistent with the Companys Values in all interactions with customers co-workers and vendorsQualifications:Two or more years of previous experience in Automotive Sales Management requiredProficient at operating a personal computer including Microsoft Office: Email Excel and WordAbility to work independently and be self-motivatedA desire to work in a commission performance-based environmentHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving recordGreat attitude with high-energy personalityExcellent customer service skillsProfessional appearance and work ethicAbility to work well in a process driven environmentOutstanding communication skills in both verbal and writtenThe compensation for this position is wholly commission-based. As a result compensation may vary based on several factors including individual performance and market conditions.
