Automotive Service Advisor/Assistant ManagerJim Barnard Chevrolet is looking for an Automotive Service Advisor/Assistant Manager to join our family. Advise the customer of any additional recommended services.Document any existing vehicle damage prior to entry into the shop.Review all requested & any declined vehicle services with the customer.Provide customer with an expected completion time.Print a service work order documenting all items discussed including promised time any declined services and/or existing vehicle damage.Assign work orders to the appropriate technician.Monitor the technicians progress and update the customer with status.Obtain customer approval to repair as needed.Document all services performed on the work repair order.Inspectfinal repairs for quality control and customer satisfaction.Review all work performed with the customer and advise of final cost.Complete & print a final customer service repair invoice.Contact customers when their vehicle service has been completed.Maintain integrity and thecompanys quality standards of excellence.Assist the Service Manager with other duties as needed.Skills and Specifications:Organized and friendly personalityDemonstrate ability to manage others.Good time management skills.Fantastic communication skillsProfessional well-groomed personal appearanceAttention to detail.Ability to understand the needs and wants of the customer.ASE certifications are a plus.Strong teamwork skills.Willing to submit to a drug screen& background check.Clean & valid drivers license.Since opening in 1972Jim Barnard Chevrolethas become a trusted Chevrolet dealership in Churchville.
