Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department you will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch automotive maintenance services including oil changes tire rotations tire replacement and other crucial routine maintenance services. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Motivation: Provide an example of leadership to achieve high levels of productivity and quality service. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment. Shop Organization and Efficiency: Maintain a clean organized and efficient workshop to enhance productivity. Implement and enforce shop procedures for optimal performance. Routine Maintenance Services: Perform oil changes tire rotations and tire replacement services and other routine maintenance services in accordance with industry standards. Focus on Technology: Stay abreast of the latest automotive technologies and implement them into repair and diagnostic processes. Provide guidance and training to the team on new technologies. Vehicle Inspection: Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify and assess mechanical issues safety concerns and areas requiring maintenance. Provide detailed reports on inspection findings including recommended repairs and maintenance to ensure the safety and reliability of customer vehicles. Personal Billable Hours: Consistently produce a minimum of 30 billable hours per week through hands-on work. Lead by example in delivering high-quality efficient repairs. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Services Performed: Measure service completion and accuracy rate of services performed. Vehicle Inspection: Measure inspection completion and accuracy rate of identified critical issues. Customer Satisfaction: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through quality repairs and excellent service. Training and Development: Assess and enhance your skill levels through training and development initiatives. Efficiency Metrics: Monitor and improve technician efficiency metrics including turnaround times and completion rates.
