Automotive Shop Foreman at Sonic Automotive

EchoPark Automotive is looking for a Shop Foreman to join our Reconditioning team at our dealership in Thornton CO. The Shop Foreman directs the activities of the shop teammates in performing body repairs meeting time schedules and productivity levels while maintaining quality standards.What You Will Do:Assisting technicians in performing technical activities.Diagnose and repair to specifications brake and hydraulic exhaust primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical suspension and alignment air conditioning and computer systems.Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers on an as-required basis.Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.Understand keep abreast of and comply with federal state and local regulations that affect the shops operations such as hazardous waste disposal right-to-know and environmental updates.Enforce safety requirements.Hire train motivate counsel and monitor the performance of all mechanical shop staffMust follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.What Were Looking For:5 years of automotive mechanical experienceOne year of supervisory experience.Working knowledge of Dealership Management computer systemsProblem-solving and repair experienceHighly motivated and energeticExcellent communication and managerial skills.Valid drivers license and good driving record.What We Offer:Salary range starting $60k and up depending on experienceSchedule that provides work/life balanceHealth Dental and Vision Insurance401K 100% match up to 4%Paid vacationTuition reimbursementAccess to leadership and personal development programsAdditional Information : All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Remote Work : NoEmployment Type : Full-time Key Skills Construction Experience,Heavy Equipment Operation,Rigging,Commercial Driving,Paving,OSHA,Roofing,Irrigation,Telecommunication,Horizontal Drilling,Excavator,Leadership Experience Experience: years Vacancy: 1
