Your mechanical skills and automotive knowledge will be essential in delivering top-tier service that keeps our clients satisfied and their vehicles running smoothly.ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently.Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, and engines.Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex problems with precision.Service and repair GM vehicles and other makes/models, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications.Execute wheel alignments and wheel balancing to optimize vehicle handling and safety.Repair or replace vehicle components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive tools.Stay current with industry trends by participating in ongoing training on automotive electrical systems, emissions controls, and new vehicle technologies.Ensure all work meets safety standards and quality assurance protocolsQualificationsProven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair.Extensive mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, and engines.Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and schematics reading.Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive maintenance tools.Experience working on GM vehicles or similar brands is preferred but not required.Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately for precise repairs.Valid technician certification or relevant ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications and State Inspection licenses are highly desirable.
