Position Overview We're hiring a Automotive Grinder for a reputable automotive manufacturer near Huntsville, AL. In this hands-on role, you'll perform bodywork, sanding, bonding, and prep work to get modular boxes ready for paint and final assembly. If you enjoy detailed craftsmanship and want steady hours with growth potential — this is a great fit! What You'll Do Sand and prepare modular boxes for bodywork and paint. Apply and smooth bondo compound on surfaces as needed. Grind, sand, and finish repaired areas to ensure a smooth, paintable surface. Mask and tape boxes for paint and finishing operations. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Perform other related duties as assigned. What We're Looking For No experience required Automotive Body Shop familiarity is a plus Ability to use hand tools, sanders, and buffing equipment. Able to lift up to 80 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, kneeling, standing). Must be able to wear respiratory protection. Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Must pass drug screen and background check. Closed-toe shoes required.
