Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, suspension, brakes, and electrical components.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machinery to complete repairs efficiently.
• Service vehicles with a focus on engine repair (including diesel engines), ADAS calibration, wheel alignments, and general mechanical repairs.
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs performed using auto estimating software.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and recommending necessary maintenance services.
  
  

Requirements:

• Proven dealership experience or service technician experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
• Hands-on experience with GM vehicles is a plus.
• Familiarity with ADAS systems calibration and alignment procedures is desirable.
• Experience working with schematics, automotive electrical systems, diesel engines, and welding techniques is advantageous.
• Prior experience in auto estimating or providing customer service in an automotive setting is beneficial.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive equipment is essential.
