A fast-growing, locally owned automotive dealership in the Charleston area is seeking an experienced DMV Title Clerk to join our team. We’re looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong knowledge of automotive titling, registration, and compliance processes. Responsibilities Process titles and registrations for retail, dealer, and wholesale transactions Submit paperwork to the state DMV in compliance with all regulations Review purchase documents for accuracy and completeness Verify lienholder documentation and payoff information Maintain title records, MSOs, and inventory accountability Schedule and track tag and title statuses Communicate professionally with customers, lenders, and state agencies Maintain compliance with all state laws and dealership standards Qualifications 3+ years automotive title or DMV processing experience required Knowledge of SC DMV rules and procedures strongly preferred High attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational skills Ability to multitask and manage deadlines Excellent communication skills Experience working in a dealership environment preferred Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Full-time, stable employment Growth and advancement opportunities Supportive and professional work environment Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $25 - $28 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
