Join our growing team and be part of a company that values quality teamwork and career growth.As a Wheel Remanufacturing Technician youll work overnight in our Newburgh NY facility restoring wheels to like-new condition. Youll repair cosmetic damage such as curb rash scrapes gouges oxidation and bent wheels using spray-painting equipment power tools and precision techniques.Key ResponsibilitiesRepair & Restoration (60%)Inspect wheels for cracks bends and other damageDisassemble wheels (remove tires valve stems etc.)Clean sand and prep wheels for repairWeld straighten and apply filler to damaged areasPaint and refinish wheels to match OEM or customer specificationsReassemble and balance wheels using tire changers and wheel balancersQuality Control & Service Excellence (20%)Perform final inspections to ensure safety and appearance standardsMix paint colors using standard formulas or color chartsOperate CNC machines and other specialized equipmentDocumentation & Communication (20%)Maintain accurate records of repairs and customer specificationsServe as a subject matter expert (SME) for wheel remanufacturing processesCommunicate with internal teams and occasionally with customersQualificationsTraining available for candidates eager to learn and grow with us.Previous experience in wheel repair or automotive service preferredFamiliarity with hand tools power tools and painting equipmentAbility to work independently and follow safety proceduresValid drivers license and clean driving recordWillingness to work overnight shifts and overtime as neededPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 65 lbsFrequent standing kneeling bending and squattingWork in a well-ventilated shop environmentMay be exposed to various weather conditions if mobilePre-Employment RequirementsMust pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.Ready to bring wheels back to life and grow your career with Dent Wizard Apply today!The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications experience and geographic location.The starting compensation is expected to be: $19.00 - $20.00 /HourWe offer a competitive & comprehensive benefit package including: paid time off medical dental vision and 401k match (50% on the dollar up to 7% of employee contribution).
