Job Description

AECOM is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aviation Program Manager to oversee and coordinate various airport projects and programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in airport operations project management and stakeholder engagement. This role requires excellent organizational communication and leadership skills to ensure the successful execution of airport initiatives.This person will be responsible for but not limited to the following:Lead and manages large to very large size programs which have high levels of execution complexity and significant strategic value to the firm.Provide the organization with strong technical leadership and strategic direction for program delivery.Develop and manage airport programs and projects from inception to completion ensuring they meet budget timeline and quality standards.Coordinate with various departments including operations maintenance security and customer service to ensure seamless program implementation.Liaise with external stakeholders including airlines government agencies contractors and vendors to facilitate project progress and resolve issues.Monitor and report on program performance identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations standards and best practices in airport operations and project management.Prepare and present regular updates and reports to senior management and other stakeholders.Manage program budgets resources and schedules effectively to achieve project goals.Lead and mentor a team of project managers and support staff fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Qualifications : Minimum RequirementsBA/BS in Airport Management Business Administration Construction Management Engineering or a related field 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education including 4 years of leadership.Preferred RequirementsA masters degree Professional Engineer (P.E.) and/or CCM certification is preferred10 years of experience in airport operations or program managementExperience with managing multiple program delivery methods such as Design-Bid-Build (DBB) Design-Build (DB) Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) Progressive Design-Build (PDB) etcProven track record of successfully managing complex projects and programs in an airport environment of $10M or more in contract valueStrong knowledge of FAA regulations airport safety standards and industry best practicesExcellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skillsProficiency in project management software and toolsAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyPMP or similar project management certification is a plusAdditional Information : Sponsorship is not available for this positionRelocation is not available for this positionAbout AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
