JOB TITLE: Avionics Software Engineer LOCATION: Tustin CA PAY RATE: $65/hour We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client. Job Details: Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension) Industry: Aerospace / Defense / Aviation Benefits: Medical dental and vision (Cigna) Perks: Bonus potential Priority access via Tier 1 supplier Openings Nationwide: Thousands of opportunities across the U.S. Qualifying Questions: Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary Summary: Gather application requirements from stakeholders Develop and maintain software applications following coding standards and best practices Collaborate with stakeholders and SMEs to engineer software solutions Participate in code reviews requirements development internal audits and other software development and verification activities Support continuous improvement of software development and integration processes Requirements: B.S. or M.S. in an Engineering discipline from an accredited university 1 4 years of experience developing tools and applications for safety-critical systems Strong proficiency in C/C and Python Experience developing software on an RTOS platform Experience building tools and applications for automated testing Experience with system and software verification techniques Experience with RS232 RS485 ARINC 429 CAN and Ethernet communications Experience using Python for automated testing and test framework development Experience with Atlassian tools including JIRA Bitbucket (Git) Confluence and Crucible Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
