If this sounds like your ministry calling, keep reading to see if were a match!Our Kindergarten through 12th grade substitute teacher is responsible for facilitating the education of K-12th grade students while their primary teacher is unavailable. The ideal candidate will successfully lead the learning process of all subjects required for this age group. This position is responsible for instructing on the curriculum and ensuring all relevant duties are maintained and managed. Minimum Required Qualifications:Bachelors Degree, preferably in the education fieldA Current Ohio Teaching License, or a Permanent Non-Tax CertificationOne Year of Teaching ExperienceAll Guardian Academy Staff Members will be asked to comply with both BCI and FBI background checks.Attends in person or online one weekend service weekly.Excellent communication with students, parents, teachers, and staffExcellent organizational skillsFlexible in fulfilling needs of Guardian Academy when needed (i.e., covering another class if able) and adaptive to last-minute changesDemonstrate the ability to receive and apply constructive criticism.Demonstrate the ability to be flexible and calm under pressure and during changeHighly motivated with the ability to work and complete tasks unsupervisedSolution-oriented and a creative problem solverTime Requirements:The Guardian Academy school day for teachers is Monday through Friday 7:45am to 3:45pm.
