Azure Data Engineer at Global Soft Systems

Data Engineer Location: Grand Rapids MI/Hybrid Duration: 3 months with possible extension Description: The ideal candidate for this role has 8 10 years of relevant work experience. Designs modifies develops writes and implements software programming applications. Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis test witnessing and certification of software. Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts practices and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. 8 - 10 years of experience in data engineering focusing on Azure-based solutions. Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) Databricks and Synapse Analytics. Required knowledge in SQL Python or Scala for data transformation and scripting. Hands-on experience with Azure Cosmos DB and other Azure data storage solutions. Ability to do discovery on existing tools and data flow and recommending data model a plus Experience or understanding of working in digital marketing or ecommerce data domain preferred.
