Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Summary:We are looking for a reliable, detailed-oriented, and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with providers to ensure excellent patient flow and care. You will be responsible for a mix of clinical duties and administrative tasks, ensuring our patients feel supported from the moment they walk in until they receive their results.Key Responsibilities:Clinical Duties:Rooming Patients: Escort patients to exam rooms, verify patient identity, and prepare them for the provider.Vitals & Intake: Obtain and record accurate vital signs, measurements, and update medical history in patient charts.Procedures: Perform EKGs and assist providers during examinations and minor in-office procedures.Charting: Ensure all patient encounters are accurately documented in the EMR [Electronic Medical Record] system.Administrative & Communication Duties:Patient Communication: Manage outbound messages and phone calls to patients regarding care instructions and follow-ups.Lab Results: Communicate lab and test results to patients as directed by the provider.Scheduling: Assist with scheduling appointments and managing the provider's daily calendar.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED required.Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program/diplomaCurrent BLS/CPR certification.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Why Join Us?Great Schedule: No nights or weekends!
